About Elbow Pads

Elbow pads are very important. Elbows are generally the first body part to contact the surface when you fall. The pads will prevent injuries to the elbows due to impact with the skating surface. The elbow pad is designed to protect as much of the area between the cuff of the glove and the bottom of the shoulder pad as possible. So be sure to select a size that will cover this area and provide maximum protection.

Sizing Elbow Pads

Elbow pad sizing is fairly simple. Generally, all elbow pads will have several adjustable elastic straps to accommodate a wide range of sizes. Your elbow should fit comfortably in the pocket of the elbow pad, and the straps should allow enough adjustment to allow the pad to be securely held in place.
